Excess amount of payment made will be refunded after the hospitalization bill is completely settled. The refund will usually be ready a month after discharge if the patient is using Medisave or Medishield/Private Medical Insurance (CPF approved). If not, the refund will usually be ready 2 weeks after discharge. The refund will be in the form of a cheque.
