The NUH Dialysis Centre (NUHDC) is one of the satellite specialist outpatient centres set up outside NUH to bring greater convenience to its patients. Set up 20 years ago, it uses a unique patient-centred care model for outpatient Haemodialysis treatments. This includes services such as on-site specialist clinic sessions, renal nursing care and renal dietetics that are coupled with patient social support networks so as to satisfy patients' needs in a holistic and seamless manner.
NUHDC is licensed by MOH to operate 14 Haemodialysis Stations that as a capacity to handle up to 84 patients per week.
Patients who wish to be dialysed at our centre are required to be assessed by our Consultant-in-Charge (A/Prof Evan Lee). Our Consultant-in-Charge will review all cases approximately twice monthly during our weekly Thursday Clinic Sessions from 3.00pm to 5.30pm.
