Leading the way as a clinical service provider via excellence in research and education is the mission statement of the Department of Medicine at NUH. We believe in nurturing the talents of our junior doctors by utilizing the senior experienced clinicians as mentors and supervisors. This reflects on quality patient care. The specialty divisions and programmes provide a full range of services in internal medicine. This offers our patients the opportunity to receive state of the art care in one setting.
We believe in a culture of continuous improvement via quality audits, patient feedback and also clinician initiated projects, innovations and reforms. Each of our eight clinical divisions must report regularly on their unfaltering efforts to improve NUH as a site of clinical service excellence as well as the superior venue for advanced specialist training and clinical research.
