Overview

The Department of Preventive Dentistry was formed to provide specialty service and support to patients on the areas of Paediatric Dentistry, Orthodontics, Periodontics and Preventive Dentistry / Dental Public Health.

Stepping up on its public education role, a Dental Health Education Unit was established in 1991. Dental models, brochures and audio tapes are regularly used to demonstrate oral health procedures to patients.
