Dr Lingaraj Krishna has recently joined the Department as an Associate Consultant within the Division of Adult Reconstructive Surgery. His clinical interests include general orthopaedics, arthroscopic knee surgery, and hip and knee joint replacement, with particular focus on revision surgery, minimally invasive surgery and computer-guided navigation surgery.
Dr Lingaraj graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1997. He completed his Basic Surgical Training in General Surgery in 2003, and subsequently his Advanced Surgical Training in Orthopaedic Surgery in 2007. He will be attending a one-year clinical fellowship programme in Joint Replacement surgery in Melbourne, Australia in 2008.
Dr Lingaraj is a Clinical Tutor with the National University of Singapore, and recently received the Leadership in Academic Medicine Mentorship Programme Award. He is a member of the Singapore Medical Association, as well as the Singapore Orthopaedic Association.
Dr Lingaraj has both basic science and clinical research interests. These include articular cartilage physiology, as well as clinical outcomes in Trauma and Joint Replacement surgery. His recent work includes the following :-
