The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery has 22 fully-qualified Orthopaedic Surgeons.  There are 5 Clinical Divisions. These are:-

• Division of Adult Reconstructive Surgery
• Division of Paediatric Orthopaedics
• Division of Spinal Surgery
• Division of Sports Medicine
• Division of Orthopaedic Trauma

Our Consultant Surgeons usually specialise in the treatment of surgical conditions in one or two of the subspecialties dictated by the various divisions. This ensures that they are truely expert surgeons in their particular field of interest, with consequent benefits for patients.

Our surgeons are supported by a dedicated team of house staff, anaesthetists, nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, pharmacists, social workers, case managers, secretarial and other allied staff who work as a team to ensure the best care for our patients.
