Dr Lynne Lim graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1992. She completed her ENT fellowship examinations in 1996 and ENT specialist training in 2001. She then did a 2 year paediatric ENT fellowship at Cincinnati Children Hospital Medical Centre, Ohio, one of the three accredited paediatric fellowships in USA. She has a Master of Public Health from the Harvard School of Public Health, Boston, USA (Healthcare Management, Society & Health, Clinical Trials, Advanced Epidemiology, Advanced Biostatistics, Environmental Health, Scientific Questionnaires, Quality Improvement).
Her current appointments at NUH are Consultant ENT Surgeon, Sectional Head of Paediatric ENT Service, Director of Centre for Hearing Intervention & Language Development & Director of Clinical Research. She is an Associate Professor with the National University of Singapore involved in teaching and examination of both undergraduate students and post-graduate doctors.
Dr Lynne Lim consults in both adult and paediatric cases of general ear, nose throat disorders, snoring & obstructive sleep apnea. In addition, she specialises in complex cases such as airway reconstruction (larynx, tracheal, cricotracheal reconstruction for airway & voice problems), ENT problems in syndromic children & patients with craniofacial disproportion, soft palate & pharyngeal surgery for hypernasal unclear speech and otologic procedures (mastoid, ossicular surgery, cochlear implants, implantable hearing aids).
Dr Lynne Lim has been an invited speaker to many international & regional lectures and contributed widely in research and publications in various peer reviewed international journals. She is an associate editor for the Singapore Medical Journal. She often participates as an invited faculty and directs Research Workshops for National Healthcare Group, Singapore.
