Dr Lim graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, National University of Singapore. He underwent residency in Otolaryngology in Singapore and was awarded the Gold medal award by the College of Surgeons for the best performing resident in the exit examination organized by the Specialist Training Committee in Otolaryngology.
After completing his specialist training, he has joined the Department of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery as an Associate Consultant. His current practice includes General Otolaryngology with his main interest in Head and Neck Oncology. He will be pursuing a head and neck fellowship programme under the American Head and Neck Society in 2010.
Dr Lim’s other interests include research, especially cancer research. He has published several papers in peer reviewed journals and has presented in several international meetings. He was awarded the Clinical Leadership Research grant in 2008 for his project on human papillomavirus in head and neck cancers.
