Two methods are described below to help increase your comfort level. These methods are useful for mild to moderate pain.
 
 
Minimise Anxiety
 
Be well informed about the type of operation you are having.
Pain is expected from the operation site after the surgery when coughing, sitting or getting out of bed. Supporting your wound site during these activities will help to reduce the pain.
 
 
Physical agents - Cold or Hot Agents
 
Placing cold or hot packs on the site of pain.
They are safe and have no side effects.
