Healing Hands, Touching Lives - A health seminar on common hand and wrist conditions
Programme Highlights
Hand and wrist injuries at work and play
Our hands and wrists enable us to perform many tasks. However, many of us take them for granted. We may injure ourselves while doing manual work, or 'sprain' our joints when we engage in strenuous sports. There are also injuries such as 'strains', which are more insidious on the onset but are no less disabling.
Learn more about these injuries and ways to minimise them.
What happens to our hands and wrists as we age?
As we age, degenerative conditions of the hand and wrist will increasingly take the spotlight. Pain, numbness and lumps are the most common manifestations of these diseases.
Come and find out the early symptoms of these conditions and how you can better manage them.
