Health Screening
Health Screening helps to discover if a person is suffering from a particular disease, even if he or she does not have any symptoms. If a disease is discovered early through screening, the person can receive treatment early and avoid complications, much suffering or even death.
A Health Screening consists of tests like blood or urine tests and others like X-rays or ultrasounds. It is usually done at regular intervals (eg. once a year or once in two to three years), or when a person reaches a certain age. We would advise that you get a test for a particular disease if you have an immediate family member who has the same disease or medical condition. If you are over the age of 40, you may wish to consult your doctor about a health screening. Our team of dedicated healthcare professionals will work closely with you to help you better understand your screening results and health condition and advise you on making adjustments to your lifestyle, where necessary.

Travel Screening & Vaccination
Worldwide, disease risks are on the rise. Safeguard Your Health before You Travel. Taking precaution can make all the difference between a trip to remember and a trip to forget. At the Travel Screening & Vaccination Clinic we provide prospective travellers with pre-travel health counseling along with any immunisations or medications needed to travel in good health and with peace of mind.
We provide medical advice about the dangers of travel related infections and diseases. High-risk travellers (for instance, pregnant women, the elderly and patients with medical conditions such as asthma, hypertension and diabetes) can seek health advice that is specific to their conditions.
A broad range of travel immunisations are available at the clinic. Medications are prescribed for the prevention of malaria and treatment of travel associated diarrhoea. Vaccinations are also available to non-travellers who prefer to be immunised for various health reasons.
- Pre-Travel Advice and Vaccination
During your consultation, our clinic staff will give you the required vaccine(s) and explain important precautions to help you stay healthy while you are away and after you have returned home. You will also be educated on the safe consumption of food and beverages, how to protect yourself from disease-carrying insects and how to prevent and treat minor illnesses while you are overseas.
Vaccinations are tailored to suit individual needs and you will be assessed on your medical conditions, allergy history and activities before any recommendations can be made. If travelling, we would advise you to have your vaccination at least two (2) weeks prior to your departure.
