What causes it

About the condition
Nose block, discharge and itch, sneezing and epistaxis are common complaints in children. A child is more likely to suffer from food allergy than adults (eg: milk, wheat, eggs, peanuts and soy).

Diagnosis and Treatment Condition
Our allergy nurse will counsel comprehensively on allergen identification, avoidance and offer a complete range of testing. If necessary, flexible and rigid scope is done to exclude tumors or infections.
Besides medications, immunotherapy is also available for de-sensitization. Besides the usual injection form of immunotherapy, an oral sublingual form of immunotherapy is available too. Minimally invasive endoscopic surgery is done for severe persistent sinusitis failing medication and in complex cases, advanced computerised imaging systems is used to improve safety.
