The National University Heart Centre, Singapore is seeking candidates who are highly motivated and willing to join us for a challenging and fulfilling appointment as an intensivist. Clinical responsibilities would be predominantly in the cardiothoracic intensive care unit, a 15 bed unit that looks after mainly adult patients with cardiac, thoracic, or vascular surgical problems. A full range of services, with the exception of transplantation, are offered including extracorporeal life support and echocardiography. Other clinical responsibilities would be individually negotiated depending on the skills of the candidate, and might include work in the other intensive care units of the hospital or in cardiac anaesthesia.
Candidates must possess a basic Medical Degree that can be registered with the Singapore Medical Council and recognised intensive care postgraduate qualifications such as FJFICM, EDIC, or its equivalent. Commencing salary will be competitive, depending on qualifications and experience.
