Lactation Consultation

Lactation Consultants are healthcare providers recognized as an expert in the fields of human lactation and breastfeeding. NUH’s team of Lactation Consultants are certified by the International Lactation Consultant Association to assist and educate new mothers in the correct breastfeeding techniques and help solve any potential lactation problems.

Lactation Consultation service is complimentary to all maternity inpatients and is extended to outpatients with a consultation charge. Personal consultation is from Monday to Saturday, except Sunday and Public Holiday, during office hours. Public who wish to speak with a Lactation Consultant on breastfeeding inquiries can contact the free 24-hour hotline at 65-97220376. Personal consultation appointment can also be made at the same number.
