We provide expert opinion on the more complicated pregnancies. The department of obstetrics & gynaecology at NUH work on a multi-disciplinary approach where our obstetricians have close liaison with the other specialists in our hospital such as cardiologists and haematologists. This form of integrated communication allows closer monitoring of the patient’s condition and they can expect an all round excellent quality of care. In addition, we also work very closely with endocrinologists to provide expertise in looking after patient with pre-existing diabetes and gestational diabetes.
