House rules

We strive to provide the best medical care for our patients. To help us do that, we seek the co-operation of all our visitors in the following area:

• Use of Handphones
  Handphones in the wards can interfere with the medical equipment used to monitor patients and should therefore be turned off.
  
  Bedside telephones are available in single-bedded and 4-bedded rooms. Public telephones are also located outside the wards. Telephone charges for overseas calls will be included in your hospital bill and are not payable through Medisave.
  
  
• No smoking
  Smoking is prohibited by law throughout the Hospital complex.
  
  
• Ward cleanliness
  Visitors are advised to use the public toilets/showers located outside Ward 47. Please help keep our toilets clean and dry.
  
  Soiled linen and diapers are to be put into the appropriate bins provided. Unwanted food is to be thrown into the black bins located in the dirty utility room.
