Osteogenesis Imperfecta Support Group
The group was formed by a group of parents and patients with osteogenesis imperfecta, and the doctors, nurses and social worker of The Children's Medical Institute. Our inaugural meeting was held on 8 Dec 2001 in NUH, where the children and parents were treated to an afternoon of fun and games, magic show, and high tea. The aim is to provide a platform for parents and patients to share their experiences, learn more about the condition and treatment, and provide emotional support for one another. A BBQ and a picnic were subsequently organised, which further bond the families together.
