Cardiothoracic (Heart Surgery)
We manage congenital and acquired heart diseases. Both outpatient and inpatient services are available at NUH.
The service is led by Professor Lee Chuen Neng. There is in addition a large team of junior doctors, paediatric nurses, occupational and physical therapists, dieticians and social workers.
There is access to the full range of diagnostic services through the cardiology service.
The full range of cardiac surgery operations are available from straightforward repair of VSD (hole in the heart) to complex surgery for conversion to a Fontan circulation.
The Cardiac Surgical Clinic is located in The Cardiac Centre on Level 1, Main Building adjacent to the Kopitiam.
