Paediatric Dentistry deals with all aspects of oral care in children including the prevention, diagnosis and management of dental diseases and the interception and early correction of minor malocclusions.

The service is led by Dr Betty Mok, A/Prof Stephen Hsu, and A/Prof Kelvin Foong (Orthodontics). The clinic is held daily (Monday-Saturday) and is located in the Dental Centre. For appointment, click here.

The paediatric dentist specializes in the management of apprehensive and uncooperative children in need of dental care. In addition they provide treatment and preventive care to children who are at high risk of developing dental disease and for those with special needs in relation to dentistry. The latter group includes children who are medically compromised, have learning difficulties or severe physical disabilities.

In addition, they also deal with children who present with anomalies of the teeth and work closely with the orthodontists in the management of children with craniofacial anomalies.
