Paediatric Haematology/Oncology
- Minimal Residual Disease (MRD) detection in leukemia, using PCR amplification of IgH hypervariable region, and also RT-PCR amplication of fusion oncogenes.
- Embarking on a study of Thiopurine Methlytransferase Pharmacogenetics in Childhood Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (ALL). This will help in dose modification of 6-mercaptopurine in treatment of ALL.
