The Children's Medical Institute (CMI) is committed to paediatric research in the fields of genetics, nephrology, endocrinology, asthma and allergy. With the numerous subspecialties in paediatrics, there continues to be a significant scope for research at the CMI. Clinical drug and vaccine trials are part of the strength of the department - please contact us.
Research programmes are undertaken only if ethical approval has been granted. In addition no patient is enlisted into a research program without their consent. Patients treatment will not be affected if they prefer not to participate in research programs.
