
National University Heart Centre (NUHCS) at NUH supports clinical teaching for undergraduate medical students and serves as a clinical and research base for the medical and dental faculties of the National University of Singapore. It also provides postgraduate training for specialist doctors and continuous medical education for the primary care physicians.

Fellowship Scheme
- Invasive Cardiac Catheterisation Training Curriculum for Interventional Cardiology Fellows
The objectives of this programme are to equip interventional cardiology fellow with core knowledge and skills of percutaneous coronary and peripheral intervention. These will include knowledge of indications, contraindications, pre-procedural evaluation, vascular access, hemodynamic interpretation, techniques of intervention and management of post-procedural complications.

Observer Scheme
The observership status is accorded to foreign and local doctors to be attached to a clinical department to observe a specific skill with no hands-on experience or any financial commitment from the National University Hospital.
GP CME programme
We organise CME programmes regularly for primary care physicians, which aim to update them on the latest cardiac management skills and techniques to enable them to handle cardiac patients in the outpatient setting with confidence.
